Catskill's Lady Liberty
Bevin is a purebred Connemara mare by Bantry Bay's Dillon out of Loughreas Maecala (Bevin's Pedigree). Bevin came to Catskill Connemaras a green broke five year old. Many miles of trails, small jumps and dressage schooling transformed her into a nice ameteur pleasure mount. Bevin has been ridden by local Pony Clubbers and was ready to have a full time job.
In the summer of 2012 Holly & Dennis Pryor of Connecticut purchased Bevin as Holly's first horse. Bevin now resides with her friends the goats and is the queen of the farm!
Catskill Kerian was foaled May 16, 2001 at Catskill Connemara Farm. Keiran is by Bantry Bay's Dillon out of Cobweb Allison. Kerian was raised at Catskill Connemaras ad started by Cindy Cisto at tthe age of three. Tristin Moses (PC H-A Graduate) of Gray Goose Farm continued his training, as did Heather. Keiran has a puppy dog personality and natural ability with jumping. He enoyed hours of trail riding in the mountans as a youngster.
In 2006 Lin & Bill Reuther of North Chittenden bought Keiran for their daughter Katie. Over the years Katie and Keiran have become a super team! Training with Denny Emerson, competing in jumpers & eventing all over New England. In 2011 Katie and Keiran were demo pony jumpers at Equine Affaire in Springfield, MA. Keiran is a great success story showing that a great start teamed with the perfect family can make all the difference and a "super pony"!
Catskill Nola was foaled May 2007. After training with Carol Kozlowski she was purchased by the Bariel family. Nola and Grace won the Connemara Breed award at the National Dressage Pony Cup and her owner Grace was the reserve high point junior. Nice job!
Nola is now with a new junior rider Stephenie and they are having a blast in pony club!
